Resulting from an on-going three year survey, this paper outlines some of the behaviours and attitudes of procurement professionals in an attempt to better understand contemporary procurement and supply management practice. Some key findings include:

Almost half of suppliers feel that the feedback they receive from buyers is not useful
Conversely almost all buyers think the feedback they give is useful to suppliers
The majority of buyers are indifferent to the not-for-profit sector
