Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, is the government agency responsible for the promotion of the Food, Drink and Horticulture industry, bringing Ireland’s outstanding produce to the world, thus enabling the growth and sustainability of Irish producers.

The Supply Chain Challenge

Bord Bia were looking for a simple-to-use digital supply chain technology tool that could be used for smaller quotation and mini-tender processes between €5K and €25K purchases in Europe.

The platform had to ensure that the required competitive procedures could be followed and offered complete transparency and audit trails.

The SourceDogg Solution

The SourceDogg platform delivers an efficient quotation and mini-tendering process incorporating frameworks and panels to allow for a structured sourcing and selection operation. Our technology also gives Bord Bia a straightforward requisition and guided buying tool for effortless onboarding and buying.

Bord Bia uses SourceDogg’s contract management features that allow for automation of a previously manually updated process that saves both time and money, whilst also offering transparency for audits.

Bord Bia continues to embed its use of the SourceDogg e-procurement platform and report significant efficiency gains over previous processes. The ability to score on the system and clone requests saves time and audits are easy as all data and is in one location

They’re also happy with our customer success team, and feedback that “excellent customer service and support is at your fingertips.”
